Both my dad and my brother sent me this pic taken from a mutual friend at Sunday's home loss to the Redskins.

A picture is indeed worth a thousand words, so I won't get into the game recap here.

In any case, I salute you. We all know it's hard to be a #12 some days. Sunday's shit show was one of those days.

Unnecessary "Necessary Roughness"

I like to watch football shows and movies to get me through the off season just as much as the next #12.

But the ads for this new show on the USA Network, "Necessary Roughness" make me a little ill.



Is it because it feels like an unnecessary show meant to fill a possible NFL void, thus rubbing salt in my festering lockout wound?

Or just the fact that it looks like a Sopranos-wannabe with "NFL playas"? Either way, I'm suppressing a little vomit every time I see an ad.

In the end, I know I feel that way because I'll probably end up watching it anyway just to get a football fix.

Dammit.
